Richard Montague is a tax partner within BDO’s private client practice in London, with a core focus on entrepreneurs.
He has played a key role in the expansion of BDO’s private client offerings around the world. He has been with the firm since 2000, and between 2014 and 2019 served as chairman of the international private client group of BDO International.
His client base comprises UHNW families and their family offices – mainly UK-based but with international interests – and includes many high-profile tech entrepreneurs. Montague works with these entrepreneurs to get the right tax structures in place at the outset, and advises them throughout the tech business life cycle and beyond.
