Elaine Shiels joined RSM in 2018 as a private client partner after spending almost three decades at Big Four firm EY. Her clients include HNWs, entrepreneurs and senior-level executives who turn to her for tax planning advice. This ranges from inheritance tax planning to capital gains tax planning.

The Birmingham-based tax adviser is proud of the support network that RSM provides its clients. ‘As part of the private client team at RSM, we offer a personal service built around the needs of our clients,’ she says. ‘We provide tax compliance and advisory services in a bespoke, professional and proactive way to each client.’ 

Shiels is a fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
