Karen Spencer-Smith is eminently well qualified to advise her clients at BKL (which merged with Wilson Wright in 2024), where she is a partner in the tax division. Her three decades of prior experience saw her working at HMRC itself before founding and running her own successful tax advice company.

Placing sound, clear and sympathetic advice at the heart of her practice, Spencer-Smith is proud to have retained relationships with some clients for more than 20 years. As with almost all UHNW families, her clients often move between jurisdictions and hold assets in many countries, so she is adept at liaising with international authorities.
