Goeres explained that sustainability is an increasingly significant priority among the investors he works with. At the COP28 hosted in the UAE, LGT held a conference with UHNWs discussing global macro trends, ‘as well as opportunities that climate change brings’. 

LGT is particularly well placed to support younger generations, Goeres said, describing these individuals as ‘highly educated’ around issues of sustainability and climate change, with some expressing a preference to align their wealth around impact investing and ESG.
