Iwan Williams is a partner at Michelmores who joined in 2023 from Shakespeare Martineau. Prior to that, he worked on landed estates at Charles Russell Speechlys for more than seven years.

Based in Cheltenham, Williams advises clients in London and across the rest of the UK on estate and succession planning, ‘including passing assets to the next generation tax-efficiently while retaining proper provision and control for the current generation’. 

He has particular expertise advising landowners who are engaging in natural capital and biodiversity net-gain planning structures. ‘I much enjoy helping my clients plot a course through thorny issues in this evolving sector,’ he says.
