Based in Cheltenham, Christian Massey specialises in the often-complex legal matters associated with the ownership of rural properties, namely landed estates, agricultural property and country houses.

Massey joined Michelmores from Charles Russell Speechlys in 2021 ‘to expand the firm’s private wealth offering’ and now heads up the private wealth team. In his current role, he acts for individuals, entrepreneurs, companies, trustees, charities and long-standing multi-generational families on high-value residential property transactions, and consults on issues linked to the management of those properties.

The partner, who has been described as ‘affable, thorough, proactive and solution-driven’, is typically focused on the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire, but says his footprint extends from Lancashire to Cornwall and from west Wales to East Anglia.
