Warren Thompson qualified as a teacher before he saw a different kind of opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives and moved into private banking and working with families.

After some time at Lloyds he started at what was Coutts Private Office - now Coutts Family Office - and has reshaped it into a facility that services ultra-high net worth families, fitting in with their other advisers or being their sole provider of, among other things, investment, banking, asset management, liquidity and philanthropy advice.

He is very proud of the team he has built up during 20 years at the bank. He said: ‘You don’t get anywhere without great people and my team is made up of extraordinary individuals with great technical skills that I could only have dreamed of back when I was an adviser. It’s a privilege to work with such an organisation.’
