Rvival is leagues away from the traditional ultra-luxury holiday, instead providing clients the opportunity to embark on private, skills-based experiences, whether it is foraging with a herbologist or fishing and exploring glaciers in Greenland.

Favoured by, among others, Sir David Beckham and his sons, as well as former footballer Ian Wright, adventurous guests are connected with experts who guide them on excursions and teach them all that the wilderness has to offer. ‘We put specialists in the outdoor space – those who protect traditions, heritage and conservation practices – in front of influential people, and let sparks fly,’ says Eliza Brown, the company’s founder.

While guests certainly won’t be sitting on sun loungers all day, Rvival doesn’t withhold touches of luxury. Each trip is completely bespoke, and cocktail masterclasses, sauna sessions and fine dining – including the chance to free dive for your own scallops – are among the more indulgent offerings.
