Ben Pentreath established his London-based architectural and interior design studio in 2004, growing it from a small team of fewer than 10 people to more than 40, with the firm now taking on projects around the world.

The studio works across a variety of disciplines, including interior design for country houses, cottages, townhouses and apartments; architectural design, including new builds and restorations to historic buildings; and small- and large-scale master-planning and urban development.

Interiors demonstrate an ‘intuitive use of colour, pattern and classical detail with bold contemporary elements’ the firm says, whether it’s a Regency manor house in Wiltshire or an Edwardian home in Hampstead, while architects are equally comfortable designing in a classical style as adopting a vernacular language.
