Tucked away in the Cheshire hills, Delamere is one of the UK’s only purpose-built private addiction treatment centres.

Guests stay in rooms with en-suite bathrooms and views of the surrounding landscape through floor-to-ceiling windows; communal spaces, a gym, a cinema and guest suites are also on offer. Residents are looked after by experts in addiction treatment and rehabilitation, receiving round-the-clock support from psychiatrists and doctors.

The clinic operates a four-step rehabilitation programme called ‘Stop, Start, Grow and Bloom’ – a trauma-informed treatment plan catered to each individual’s needs. ‘Recovery really becomes a springboard for people,’ says Martin Preston, Delamere’s founder and CEO. ‘Life can really open up for someone when they find freedom from active addiction.’
