Delamere, one of the UK’s only purpose-built private addiction treatment centres, opened in spring 2020 as a private retreat for those with alcohol, drugs or other addictions.

Tucked away in the Cheshire hills, Delamere offers over six acres of peace and tranquillity. The centre says that when clients arrive, it is ‘a little like walking into a modern boutique hotel’.  Indeed, guests benefit from having en-suite bathrooms, communal spaces, a gym, a cinema and guest rooms that offer views of the surrounding landscape through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Guests are looked after by experts in addiction treatment and rehabilitation, receiving round-the-clock support from psychiatrists and doctors. Operations are overseen by clinical director Mark Delaney, who uses his extensive experience in the addiction treatment sector to deliver a person-centred treatment plan.
