Spear’s Review
London-based Cerno Capital aims to 'make investing uncomplicated, accessible and free of jargon' co-founder Nicholas Hornby tells Spear’s.
Founded in 2007 by Hornby and James Spence, Cerno takes its name from the Latin word for ‘to select’ and sees itself as a partner to its clients, rather than just an investment manager.
The firm’s investment approach is based around two broad strategies: global, multi-asset portfolios that blend different asset types with a goal of achieving an above-inflation return, and concentrated, high-conviction equities that seek above equity index returns.
