The family department specialises in complex finance and children issues across different jurisdictions. The team includes specialists in ADR, mediation and international family law.

The firm’s injury and medical claims team handles multi-track matters including catastrophic brain and spinal cord injury; orthopaedic and amputation claims; psychiatric injury, cerebral palsy and brain injury cases, and other high-value and complex cases. They won ‘Catastrophic Injury Team of the Year’ at the 2019 Personal Injury Awards. 

It has a large specialist social housing team taking on complex litigation involving the rights of social housing tenants and leaseholders. One partner co-drafted the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018 and the firm is well known for its work on housing conditions.
