Loraine Davenport joined Anthony Gold in late 2024 and soon was named head of the firm’s family and relationships department. Formerly a director at Hawkins Family Law, Davenport’s practice at Anthony Gold is focused around the financial issues arising from separation and divorce, as well as complex children issues. 

HNW clients are attracted to Davenport’s expertise due to her well-rounded approach to resolution. ‘Clients like my compassionate approach,’ Davenport tells Spear’s. ‘They say that I’m very balanced, but I make them feel better, and that I will always fight what can be fought, but negotiate what shouldn’t be.’

Indeed, Davenport is an advocate for hybrid mediation and collaborative law, and she also regularly partakes in the ‘one lawyer, one client’ approach, which tends to be much friendlier and positive. So friendly, in fact, that Davenport has reported a number of reconciliations between couples.
