DIXON WILSON IS a long-established boutique firm of chartered accountants with offices in central London and Paris, specialising in the provision of tax, accountancy and advisory services to HNW private clients and their businesses.

Founded in 1888, they now have 14 partners and around 140 staff. Their size allows them to provide the technical expertise required by their clients while offering the personal, partner-led service that their clients demand.

Continuity of service is key to their client relationships, and their involvement with many of their clients dates back for more than 50 years.

A partner-led service is essential to maintaining these relationships. Almost all of the partners joined Dixon Wilson as trainees and have been with the firm for their entire career. The firm feels that this is indicative of the positive working environment cultivated by Dixon Wilson.

They pride themselves on having a dynamic partnership, with partners each having skills that complement one another. They have recruited a number of technical managers from other firms during the year, a signal of their longer-term intention to retain and recruit employees of the highest technical calibre.

They have a large number of clients who are not domiciled in the UK. They understand the importance of translating the technical aspects of the legislation into accessible English, particularly for those clients for whom English may not be a first language. They pride themselves on notifying their clients of changes to the rules in a timely and understandable manner.

They have continued to provide their clients with a bespoke service, tailored to their specific circumstances and problems. As a multi-practice firm, Dixon Wilson are able to deal with the majority of issues that a client is likely to face in their lifetime. This includes looking after their family, trusts, businesses and charities.

They are proficient with overseas planning, from a UK angle, and have a number of clients with international interests.
