Thomas Frauenlob

Thomas Frauenlob is head of intermediaries and family offices at Julius Baer, taking on the position in April 2024 amid a spate of senior changes at the Swiss bank. Prior to this, he was one of the most senior figures at banking giant UBS. 

From 2016 to 2021, Frauenlob managed UBS’s relationships with UHNW individuals at the firm’s Zurich office as well as heading its family office services in Switzerland. His previous experience includes heading up the Swiss equities division within UBS, leading the equity derivatives sales at Deutsche Bank and occupying ‘various positions’ at Goldman Sachs for nearly a decade. 

Frauenlob possesses a doctorate in finance from the University of Zurich, as well as a master’s degree in the same subject, graduating magna cum laude in both.
