Martin Heale

Spear’s Review

A director at Schroders Wealth Management since 2017, Martin Heale has 25 years of experience in the field of wealth management. Early in his career, Heale served as director at Barclays Private Bank, and then continued on to a successful tenure at Kleinwort Benson prior to its buyout, where he led the firm’s private wealth management arm.

In his current role, Heale specialises in providing advice for US clients in regards to personal risk profiling, US compliant investments and tax reporting. Investment managers at Schroders seek to uphold the firm’s ethos that it has an ‘important role to play in driving better outcomes for our clients and society as a whole’. This has resulted in an incredibly loyal client base, immediately evidenced by a copious number of testimonials, many of which cite Heale’s ‘strong leadership gravitas’, ‘business-oriented mind’ and ‘natural zest for business’.

Adviser Profile

Martin heads up the Americas team at Schroders Wealth Management, specialising in international wealth and investment management for US clients residing in the US, UK and beyond.

Before Schroders, Martin was Head of Americas at the Royal Bank of Canada Wealth Management International in London and Head of Private Wealth Management for Kleinwort Benson.

Martin attended the IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland. He was elected a member of The London Stock Exchange in 1990 and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI).

He is a Registered Investment Advisor with the SEC and holds the Uniform Investment Advisor Law qualification with FINRA.
