Schroders Wealth Management in Asia has thrived under CEO Jason Lai’s watchful eye. Lai, who is based in Singapore, joined the firm in 2019 when Schroders Wealth Management acquired independent wealth manager Thirdrock Group, of which he was the founder and CEO. 

He was brought on to drive business growth across the Asia-Pacific region and pursue the firm’s ambition in regard to building a ‘leading wealth management business’.

Lai’s experience managing multi-billion-dollar portfolios during his career, and his extensive knowledge of multi-asset class investing, has indeed captured growth in the region and bolstered Schroders’ reputation.

Prior to founding Thirdrock, Lai was head of China at ABN AMRO Private Bank in Hong Kong.
