Simpson heads up her own firm, Jess Simpson Property Search, and is managing director of Stoneacre Advisors, a joint venture launched in January 2025 with Matthew Sudlow. This new venture, she says, is ‘widening up the client base in terms of ... the service that we’re offering and the geography we’re covering’.

Simpson left Private Property Search, the buying arm of Strutt & Parker, in 2017 to set up her own firm. ‘Our clients are absolutely at the forefront of what we’re doing,’ she says, ‘because we haven’t got all the corporate and internal clients to worry about; we can put all of our focus on our external players.

‘Clients need comprehensive advice. You never buy then walk away; you’re involved all the way through, from appointing project managers, architects and interior designers to advising your client on horses and guns.’
