Chabi Nouri
Spear’s Review
Appointed global CEO of international auction house Bonhams in 2024, Swiss-born Chabi Nouri is leading the historic business into its next chapter.
Based in London, Nouri brings extensive experience in the luxury sector, having held senior roles at renowned jewellery retailers including Richemont brands Cartier and Piaget. She also serves as a non-executive board member of the Watches of Switzerland Group.
Global auction houses are grappling with a sharp downturn in the global art market; Bonhams saw sales fall 12 per cent in 2024 and is among the businesses facing mounting pressure to adapt to the digital age.
With a legacy spanning over 300 years, Bonhams is one of London’s original four Georgian auction houses. In recent years, it has made a concerted push into the global market, acquiring boutique sales rooms in Sweden, Denmark, the UK and France.
