Gray Smith, founding partner of MEUM, practises corporate law and works largely with HNWs who have built up successful businesses or are serial entrepreneurs.

Whether a client is starting a small passion project or managing a listed company, Smith can assist with all manner of commercial matters, including joint ventures, M&As, fund raising and regulatory issues. His three decades of experience in the business world also means he can call upon his network to help clients achieve success. 

When asked why he prefers to work with individuals rather than large corporates, he tells Spear’s: ‘It’s very different working with entrepreneurs who are looking to build up their own assets; it’s a lifetime’s ambition or achievement for them, and I find that a lot more interesting.’
