‘Design follows where imagination goes,’ Anouska Hempel has said, and the actress-turned-interior designer’s eponymous firm has left its mark on residential and commercial spaces around the world.

Since 2023, CEO and interior designer Olivia Heath has led the company, overseeing the day-to-day running of the business and ‘operating at the intersection of design, strategy and business development’.

Over the decades, the Anouska Hempel studio has designed for hotels in Chile, London, Paris, Lebanon and Singapore; Mediterranean sailing yachts; and retail spaces such as Van Cleef & Arpels and Louis Vuitton. It also has ventured into gardens and landscaping and residential interiors, transforming the homes and estates of celebrities, royalty and UHNW families in the UK and Europe.

‘Design, refine and repeat’ is the studio’s ethos; in every design, ‘there is mystery, romance, theatre and perfection’.
