Thorndon Partners’ Graziella Chelo has more than a decade of experience in strategic communications and reputation management, with a particular focus on advising her UHNW and corporate clients in matters concerning philanthropy. 

She tells Spear’s that a lot of the work she does for large conservation NGOs focuses on ‘countries where activities are delivering value’. This often involves operating in developing countries, investigating the best approach to philanthropy and working alongside local communities.

When speaking of her work concerning HNWs, she says that she focuses on ‘targeted strategic goals behind the [client’s] approach. If an individual wants to launch a foundation, what do they need to achieve in one year or two years?’ 

Across her career, Chelo has acted as a trusted adviser to many high-profile individuals and notable foundations.
