Dominic Bulfin

Dominic Bulfin is a senior associate in Hill Dickinson’s yachts team, advising owners and their intermediaries on all aspects of superyacht ownership and management. He moved to the firm in early 2024 following nearly five years at Bargate Murray.

Bulfin’s advice covers everything from negotiations of new builds to refit contracts, purchase agreements and charter agency agreements. A lifelong sailor, Bulfin understands the realities of life on water, and frequently applies his personal experience as both an owner and charterer to offer clients ‘practical, pragmatic and realistic’ advice.

As well as yachts, Bulfin brings substantial experience in aviation, solving a ‘blind spot’ in Hill Dickinson’s practice. On his approach to working with clients, Bulfin tells Spear’s: ‘It’s about working with the clients to understand to what extent they want us to push and to what extent they want us to just get the matter done.’
