Dominic Bulfin is a senior associate in Hill Dickinson’s yachts team, advising owners and their intermediaries on all aspects of superyacht ownership and management. He moved to the firm in early 2024 following nearly five years spent at Bargate Murray.

Bulfin’s practice is broad. He handles the practical matters that arise from ownership, covering everything from negotiations of new builds to refit contracts, purchase agreements and charter agency agreements. Project experience includes the design and construction of ‘some of the largest new builds in the superyacht fleet’ to the ‘complex modification and repurposing of older vessels’. He’s also called upon to offer his support in real time to captains and yacht managers.

A lifelong sailor, Bulfin understands the realities of life on water, and frequently applies his personal experience as both an owner and charterer to offer clients ‘practical, pragmatic and realistic’ advice.
