With more than 20 years of experience, Jess Simpson is among the most trusted names in the prime country property market, focusing on super-prime country houses, landed estates and farmland. 

Having run her own firm, Jess Simpson Property Search, for eight years, she set up Stoneacre Advisors in 2025 alongside Matthew Sudlow and now serves as managing director.

While much of her work involves sourcing large rural estates for UHNW clients, she notes that ‘you can rarely buy the finished product’. As a result, she often spends time ‘buying land, carrying out additional adjoining acquisitions and building up an estate from that’. One particularly successful project saw a client's landholdings increase from 700 to 10,000 acres over seven years.

Despite operating in what she describes as a ‘challenging market’, the new firm transacted £100 million in property in its first year. The secret to Simpson’s success? ‘We work really hard for clients and negotiate really good deals.’
