Known for his intimate knowledge of the streets of prime central London, Johnny Turnbull has just shy of 40 years’ experience representing UHNW buyers in the city’s finest postcodes.

Turnbull began his career as a negotiator at Winkworth, which was followed by roles at Hamptons, Savills and later Prime Purchase. He founded his own boutique buying agency, Turnbull Property, in 2006. According to the firm, which is based in Chelsea, it offers ‘unrivalled knowledge of the London market’. 

A fellow buying agent describes Turnbull as one of the ‘behemoths’ of the profession, while a second observes: ‘He might not do lots of deals, but the ones he does do are whoppers.’ He was appointed to the board of The London Broker, an independent collective of property brokers, in 2018.
