When Punter Southall Wealth was acquired by Canaccord Genuity in 2022, investment director Nicholas Grant came along with it.

Grant says his core aim is ‘to preserve our clients’ capital’. He works with a broad range of HNWs, charitable organisations and trusts, but notes that all of them share ‘a common desire to make their money work in the right way for them’. 

Consequently, he makes sure his clients’ portfolios are protected well on the downside and make good gains in times of recovery, highlighting the firm’s nimble approach.

Grant is chair of the finance committee for the Worshipful Company of International Bankers.
