Neil Lewis joined Kleinwort Hambros as head of key clients in 2022; the firm has since been acquired by Union Bancaire Privée.

An operator with more than 35 years of industry experience, Lewis was previously part of Barclays’ regional network of financial experts, where he worked with some of the wealthiest families in the south of England and Wales. There, Lewis helped ‘clients realise their business goals and interests’, and was focused on ‘protecting, growing and structuring my clients’ wealth alongside their other professional advisers’, he says. 

Lewis is known for his ‘can-do attitude’ and a determination to provide the highest service levels for his clientele. He is particularly passionate about developing financial literacy among the next generation. Born in Jersey, the banker started his career at Barclays in 1985. He moved to Coutts for a brief stint in their private banking team before returning to Barclays and then taking on his current role.
