Scott Capital Partners partner Tom Starkie works predominantly with UK-based families and resident non-doms.

With over a decade of experience in wealth planning and financial services, Starkie seeks to create long-term investment strategies for his clients and be ‘a voice of calm in the storm’. 

As a relationship manager and portfolio manager rolled into one, Starkie is able to foster an ‘old-fashioned’ banking relationship, which he says is what his ultra-high-net-worth clients appreciate about his service. ‘When things go wrong,’ he says, ‘we don't hide under our desks; we pick up the phone and we get on the front foot.’ 

The private banker has previously undertaken successful stints at Barclays, Lombard Odier and Banks Sheridan, where he trained as an accountant.
