‘Our work has always been varied and is becoming ever more extreme as we find adventurous clients and suppliers alike,’ says Russell Jones, design director at Laughland Jones.

The firm specialises in interior and architectural design for private and commercial clients in London, the UK and further afield – it has completed a number of projects for owners of ski chalets in France and Switzerland, in particular.

‘There is no typical client, though they do typically come from a successful career in finance, industry, medical, land and technology, and have a passion for living and a work-hard, play-hard ethos,’ Jones explains. ‘We see a more adventurous spirit coming through with our clients – possibly this is why they come to us.

‘Our clients are a delight. Many amazing properties, in some extraordinary places.’
