Interior designer Andrew Laughland, founder of Laughland Jones, lives for his work.

One point of pride is his ability to build meaningful relationships with his clients – gaining their trust allows him to deliver exceptional projects.

Whether it is chalets in the Swiss and French Alps or the Mayfair residence of an overseas royal family, Laughland’s stated aim is ‘to make architectural and interior design an exciting adventure and not a chore. We ask the client to make sure that their own character is identifiable in the design, so they have something to be personally proud of.’ 

One highlight was seeing two clients cry on seeing the final result (‘with joy, not disappointment!’ he adds reassuringly).
