Natalia Miyar
Spear’s Review
Natalia Miyar didn’t initially want to be an architect or interior designer. Her focus was on building an academic career in art history; however, a ‘love of architecture and interiors took over’.
Miyar completed her master’s degree in architecture in the US, and founded her Chelsea-based practice in 2016 following roles at Candy & Candy and Helen Green Design. Returning to her roots, Miyar has since opened a Miami office, following increased demand from the states.
Her fondness for art history still forms a huge part of her work, and the atelier is always ‘balancing the art and science of designing an interior space’. Residential and hospitality projects include refreshing an historic home in London, outfitting a contemporary villa in Ibiza and designing the interiors of The Twenty Two private members’ club.
