Philip Harmer is the founder of specialist automotive law firm Stormcatcher Law, a firm that intertwines his drive with his personal passion for cars.

Positioning itself as ‘forward-thinking and progressive’, the company dedicates its time to cases and disputes involving high-value and rare antique cars and supercars. This includes matters relating to provenance, historically stolen vehicles, sale of goods, repair, consumer rights, restoration and modification.

Harmer was labelled with the moniker of ‘storm-catcher’ by clients as a result of the relentless manner in which he pursues victory in his cases. ‘What [clients] want is a plan, and they want a plan that is going to be quick, cost-effective and without litigation,’ Harmer says. ‘They have come to someone who understands – who has, plenty of times before, known where to look and has deciphered some of the technical information. I think [clients] find that quite a relief.’
