After gaining a law degree and working at the US Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration, former US Air Force captain David M. Hernandez joined Vedder Price. 

As part of the firm’s corporate aircraft practice, Hernandez advises corporations and individuals on the sale, purchase and lease of aircraft.

‘The trend for individuals and organisations to own their own aircraft continues to grow,’ he says. ‘While regulatory demands in this area also seem to increase every year, I think the value proposition continues to make sense for many.’

A frequent commentator on regulatory issues at aviation conferences, Hernandez has also supported clients involved in federal government enforcement actions.
