Van Rol’s practice encompasses the many issues relating to the financial aspects of divorce and separation, including working out how best to divide clients’ assets, and financial provision in relation to children. As a qualified collaborative lawyer, she also represents clients and acts as a neutral evaluator in private financial dispute resolution hearings. 

Van Rol prides herself on her ability to provide a proficient and friendly service to both professional and lay clients. It is this personable approach, she says, which has enabled her to expand her practice for several years running. ‘First of all, it’s judging the client right in terms of the level of detail you provide,’ she tells Spear’s. ‘But once you’ve assessed that, my ultimate goal, regardless, is to give frank and realistic advice. It’s about setting expectations and realistic outcomes.’
