Deepak Nagpal KC of 1 King’s Bench Walk advises and acts on behalf of a range of UHNW individuals in complicated matrimonial finance proceedings. His cases often have an international element, involving offshore structures and travel to multiple jurisdictions, while the assets of the barrister’s client base typically exceed £100 million, with some entrepreneurs and tycoons in the region of £1 billion. 

Articulate and known for his sharp intellect, Nagpal was appointed QC (now KC) in 2021, and he has appeared in a smattering of landmark decisions, including Potanin v Potanina [2022], Akhter [2021], Gray v Work [2017] and McFarlane [2006].

When he’s not advocating for clients in courts, he often assists wealthy families in private financial dispute resolutions. He is also a member of the Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Private International Law, where he is the only family law silk.
