Pauline Fowler

Spear’s Review

Pauline Fowler qualified as a solicitor in 1983, and has specialised in family law ever since. In 2001 she founded the specialist family law firm Hughes Fowler Carruthers alongside Frances Hughes and Alex Carruthers

Now a consultant, Fowler has continued to receive significant instructions throughout her career on a wide range of matters, nearly all of them with an international element, preferring to find solutions outside court where possible. She has a varied practice that covers UHNW finances as well as every aspect of children’s law, including surrogacy and international adoption.

She was a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers for more than 20 years, and is a member of the Pensions Advisory Group and Resolution, having chaired the latter’s pensions, tax and financial remedies committee for many years.
