Peter Burgess founded the London-based Burgess Mee with business partner Antonia Mee in 2013. 

Burgess has seen a huge rise in prenuptial agreement work – both writing and challenging – and has been involved in High Court and Court of Protection proceedings. He also has experience of working on cases involving controlling and coercive behaviour, trust matters and capacity issues. ‘I seem to collect specialisms as the years go by,’ he muses.

Burgess works with a network of trusted experts to provide for all of his clients’ needs. ‘The multidisciplinary working is really a key feature of modern family law,’ he says. ‘In days gone by the family lawyer would say, “I'm not a therapist, but ...”, and I think now the conversation is, “I'm not a therapist, but these people are great.”’
