A partner at International Family Law Group since 2025, Kate Stovold specialises in a variety of family law issues, from complex financial claims to sensitive child matters and fractious disputes over inheritance. Stovold may be experienced in handling court battles, but as a trained mediator, she is also an advocate of alternative resolution methods and has seen an increase in private financial dispute resolution in particular. ‘I enjoy crafting child-focused outcomes, always with an eye to what will work best for the family,’ she says.

Stovold finds that despite working within a particular area of law, ‘every case is different’. She adds: ‘That’s a very rewarding part of my job – that I can create a completely bespoke solution for each client.’
