Alison Hayes

Spear’s Review

Having joined Levison Meltzer Pigott as a partner in 2002, Alison Hayes handles all aspects of family law, including matrimonial finance and children work, for a diverse client base.

She specialises in financial remedy cases with additional complexities. Many cases involve locating hidden assets and defending and attacking trust structures, and are frequently complicated by jurisdictional disputes. Hayes also arranges pre- and postnuptial agreements, as well as cohabitation agreements.

Hayes describes her style as ‘low-key and informal’, and her method is one of practicality, advocating a rational approach based on accurate information. She aims to ‘manage client expectations and provide realistic advice, without incurring large fees’.

She is a member of Resolution, a trained collaborative lawyer and a qualified mediator.
