Spear’s Review
Edinburgh-based Seonaid Cochrane joined SKO Family Law in 2021. Family law represented a pivot in her career, which had, up until then, been focused on commercial law.
She tells Spear’s that her background in commercial law differentiates her from other lawyers in the field, as she enjoys working on cases that have a business element. She also instructs on financial provision, pre- and postnuptial agreements, and complex matters relating to children.
‘I’ve just dealt with a complex child abduction case,’ she says. ‘It involved issues that haven’t been dealt with before.’
