Spear’s Review
Dominic Volek, group head of private clients at Henley & Partners, provides advice to those searching for better mobility, security, privacy and estate planning. His work does not focus on a specific region; instead, he takes on the most complex UHNW cases and advises on residency and citizenship internationally.
‘Hundreds of wealthy individuals rely on our expertise and experience,’ says Volek, who splits his time among the firm’s major offices – from the Americas to Asia Pacific to Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He works closely with the different advisory wings within Henley & Partners, such as the education consultancy, to provide holistic plans for families looking to relocate.
‘We have been involved in strategic consulting and the design, set-up and operation of the world’s most successful residence- and citizenship-by-investment programmes,’ he adds, noting the growing interest in investment migration among wealth managers and HNWs.
Adviser Profile
Dominic Volek advises successful entrepreneurs, international investors and industry leaders on becoming Global Citizens through the acquisition of additional or alternative Residence and/or Citizenship around the world.
As a Member of the Group Executive Committee and Global Head of Private Clients, Dominic spends his time between the firm’s global offices across the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa as a private client specialist in residence and citizenship planning. His work targets countries that are deemed most attractive to wealthy clients in terms of mobility, security, privacy, personal tax and estate planning, as well as lifestyle. He is also a member of the firm’s Government Advisory practice, providing strategic advice to governments on the design, implementation and promotion of investment migration programs.
Dominic is a Fellow of the Investment Migration Council and is a certified Chartered Accountant CA (SA), holding both a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting with Honors and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication.
