Dave Benett launched his career in the 1970s with a focus on news and sports photography; he soon began concentrating solely on the London party scene. 

Over more than four decades he has produced more than a million images for leading newspapers and magazines, capturing the likes of Queen Elizabeth II, Madonna, Liz Hurley in ‘that [Versace] dress’ and many, many others. He has also photographed iconic moments in high-society history, including the time when Princess Diana enjoyed a night out with actress Liza Minnelli.

With his images being largely exclusive, Benett also regularly shoots for fashion publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Tatler, while also being the Evening Standard’s go-to for celebrity photos.
