Allon Barsam is a world-leading eye surgeon who specialises in vision correction through laser eye surgery, lens-based vision correction surgery, and cataract and corneal surgery. He runs his private practice through OCL Vision, of which he is a founding partner.

Barsam, who completed his residency training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, has pioneered a number of treatments in the UK, including laser cataract surgery, the minimally invasive SmartSight laser eye surgery, and the use of a Rayner Galaxy lens (noted for its ability to focus distances without the need for glasses and reduce glare from light sources) in cataract surgery.
