‘We regard ourselves as the Rolls-Royce of health assessments in Europe,’ says Dr Garry Savin, who leads a team of dedicated medical professionals at the Lumen clinic in Harley Street. 

His practice is designed to detect problems that might indicate future risks, such as heart disease or the very early stages of conditions such as common cancers, so they can be treated as non-invasively as possible, and clinicians perform a wide range of health screening tests. Should a problem or condition be detected, Savin can make suggestions for lifestyle changes, or refer patients directly to a specialist. 

In 2025, Savin was the first doctor in the UK to launch a new type of cognitive assessment called BrainKey. ‘We can measure each individual part of the brain in 3D,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘It’s a very precise way of quantifying the brain over time to see if it’s behaving oddly.’
