‘We regard ourselves as the Rolls-Royce of health assessments in Europe,’ says Dr Garry Savin, who leads a team of dedicated medical professionals at the Lumen clinic in Harley Street. His primary aim is the prevention and early detection of disease. 

His practice acts as a ‘one-stop shop’ for clients who are seeking to detect problems that might indicate future risks, such as heart disease or the very early stages of conditions such as common cancers. Clinicians perform a wide range of health screening tests, and patients can expect to receive tests and results on the same day. Should a problem or condition be detected, Savin can make suggestions for lifestyle changes, or refer patients directly to a specialist where they are then treated as non-invasively as possible.

In 2025, Savin launched BrainKey, an innovative type of cognitive assessment. ‘We can measure each individual part of the brain in 3D,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘It’s a very precise way of quantifying the brain over time to see if it’s behaving oddly.’
