Nicholas Bortman

Nicholas Bortman is the co-founder of Raedas, a firm that specialises in litigation and arbitration support, internal investigations, asset recovery and crisis advice.

Before he launched Raedas with Andrew Wordsworth, Bortman was a partner at the global dispute consulting group GPW (now J.S. Held), where he established the firm’s UAE office. He has acted for several UHNW clients and given evidence at multiple arbitral tribunals.

Bortman was trained by a former trial prosecutor in the Manhattan district attorney’s office, where he provided support in tobacco and pharmaceutical counterfeiting and smuggling investigations.
