Anthony Poulton, a partner at Baker McKenzie and head of the firm’s private wealth and trusts disputes team in London, has built a highly international trusts disputes practice based on exceptional competence paired with an amiable personality. His clientele includes trustees, executors, protectors, beneficiaries and interested third parties. 

He specialises in advising clients on disputes around private wealth, succession, trusts and private banking, and is known for handling work with a Middle East, Far East and offshore angle.

Poulton acted for a Jersey-based trustee in a complex fraud claim that spanned jurisdictions including Russia, Kazakhstan, England, Jersey, Guernsey and the British Virgin Islands. He also acted for Grupo Torras SA in relation to the enforcement of an $800 million judgement over trust and personal assets in multiple jurisdictions, following fraud by key management personnel.
