Mary-Anne Daly, chief executive, wealth management, at Schroders and Cazenove Capital, will move into a strategic advisory role at Schroders’ wealth business in mid-2025.

A veteran of JPMorgan Chase, ING and Baring Asset Management (now Barings), Daly joined Cazenove Capital in 2001 and had led the combined wealth management businesses of Schroders and Cazenove since the latter’s takeover by Schroders in 2013. 

‘One of the important qualities we look for in our client managers is to listen actively to clients’ preoccupations, and the same curiosity and openness to challenge is true of effective leaders,’ she says of the skills she looks for when building a team. ‘I am pleased that one of the defining characteristics of my leadership style is that I am surrounded by a team of talented people with different skills and perspectives who are unafraid of expressing their views but united in wanting what’s best for our clients and the business.’
