A year on from her appointment as CEO of Hampden Bank, things are going swimmingly for Tracey Davidson.

In the first half of 2024, the Edinburgh and London-based private bank surpassed £1 billion in assets; and in 2025 it announced a rebrand and upgrades to its offices to meet growing business needs.

Davidson, who started her career at Barclays before spending 10 years at Handelsbanken, has more big plans for the future. In a recent interview with Citywire, she revealed her intentions to set up another team in Manchester to expand regionally as well as to build relationships with local professionals and give back to the communities. ‘We’re not interested in market share per se,’ she said. ‘We just want to broaden our client base, increase the business that we do and perpetuate this strong, stable bank going forward.’
