‘Travel isn’t about going on a trip, it’s a lifestyle,’ New York-based Jaclyn Sienna India told Spear’s. Her company, Sienna Charles, offers experiences that range from the simple to the sublime and caters specifically to American centi-millionaires and billionaires.

‘We don’t actually take anyone [as a client] if they have a net worth under $100,000,000,’ she revealed. ‘Only some make it into our black book.’ With a business model similar to that of a private members’ club, prospective clients are interviewed by India to determine whether they’re a good fit for the company. ‘Our clients have all the money in the world but what they want is excellence. You can’t google excellence.’ 

That’s where India comes in. ‘People come to the company for me and my ethos,’ she said. ‘I know I have to perform.’
