Ellen Peart is head of serious and general crime and a partner at BCL Solicitors in London. 

She is an experienced and highly capable criminal solicitor whose clients are accused of a wide range of crimes, including sexual offences, homicide, harassment and computer misuse.

Peart is frequently engaged by high-profile individuals from a variety of backgrounds – including business, politics, entertainment and the media – who prefer to stay out of the public eye while dealing with their prosecutions. She is adept at the reputation management aspect of criminal prosecutions and skilled in advising broadcasters pre- and post-production. Most of her work happens behind the scenes, she tells Spear’s: ‘The primary aim is to keep cases out of the public domain.’
